Because I am 3/4 dude, I subscribed to Thrillist Boston when I got the same email. (Currently subscribed to Thrillist NY.) I think they've only sent two emails (def. not daily), and I've been *kind of* disappointed. The first one profiled that new burger joint on Mass Ave, which I've ridden by a million times and have been meaning to check out, and looks actually totally worth checking out. They also had a story on a Taiwanese restaurant in Alston that I would go to. But then they had a story about a place that sells Celtics bling crap, and a story about a dude who is from Belmont or Watertown or something (that is the local connection) who compiles dumb party pics from Flickr on a website. I thought this was particularly bad since it's not even a local thing that i can go to. Anyway, that is my run down -- basically, hit or miss. I'm kind of glad to have it because it makes me feel a little bit more like Boston is on the map, but then again, they have a Las Vegas edition too so...

Within the first week they were pimping stuff that (AFAIK) is only sold in a store in IPSWICH. I happen to have been to that store, and the stuff is nice, but the venn diagram that shows car owners in Boston and Thrillist subscribers has a very very small union.
