Very, very nice and easy to use. Now you need an office in LA!

very nice. I've been hating inline rollover popup doodads lately but yours work well, and make sense in their execution. Also I'm seeing this at 3am as I'm blearily getting the site I'm working on ready for a monday launch. This was a nice little "Yes, Virginia, sometimes sited DO get finished" boost.

congrats!

my initial thought is that i am overwhelmed with words when i look at the home page. i couldn't figure out what to read first. that said, if someone knows exactly what they are looking for then the links are bold and right there on top jumping right out at you (i can't believe how often web designers fail to make the contact button prominent). i also like the scroll over function, but the thumbnails are sooooo tiny!

i am actually surprised that the page is so conservative looking. i was really expecting something more flashy and bold and i actually appreciate the simplicity. that said i think it could be even more simplified.

It's great -- I am really impressed. But you guys broke the first rule of Search Engine Optimization -- the home page title is not what people are going to be searching for! "It's Gonna Be Awesome," while a very, uh, awesome title, is going to kill your pagerank for other searches.

1) we're already the top search for barbarian group
2) It's a damn site better SEO'd than the old one
3) I had to put "it's gonna be awesome" somewhere for my trademark application! ;)

And thanks!

Cool! Just felt compelled to point that out...

By the way, I've been using Planetary to promote the Jawbox on Cello album. It's great to work with those guys again.

I've got agency site envy.

I'd ditch that code that makes the pop info cloud follow the mouse. It's a little slow and jerky feeling. Just have it pop up in the right place, not follow the mouse, unnecessary if you ask me...

Barbarian Group Reimagines Agency Website
A little bit blog, a little bit news, a little bit portfolio. It's the new Barbarian Group website. Leaving behind the usual agency Flashturbation, Barbarian Group has crafted their site to include employee blogs as well as the usual agency website stuff such as portfolio, capabilities and jobs section. There's also a section called Barbaripedia, an information-rich section of the site that contains everything anyone would want to know about the agency which was the true hero behind Burger King's Subservient Chicken. To use a McDonald's-ism, We're Lovin' It.
